「Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. 」

「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered.
I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop.
It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper.
Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「Very easy, lovely comfy clean bed,
Unfortunately no milk. Not a problem as the coop was just up the road 😊
I’m grateful that I was given a parking space though strictly speaking one was not available for the room I booked.
