“Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. ”

“The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep.”

“The buts are well documented by previous guests. Kitchen needed a good clean, utility room very untidy, whole house due an update and could be stunning. We had ants in the kitchen and even in the dishwasher which meant we were washing up constantly and couldn’t leave food out in over half the kitchen. The owner knows this problem occurs. We did have a great stay, pool was lovely and warm, convenient showers close by, garden very pleasant, parking easy and quiet location. Loved our time but if I……
