"Prepaid for the room for a concert in time and check-in was really simple. I went to buy a snack and found out popsicles were FREE! That was unexpected and great. We missed breakfast, but everything we experienced was great!"

"firepit was great. there was, however, no firewood available at the neighbor's stand. the shades didn't all work, so we had to block some windows with trash bags. however, all of that was offset by the cleanliness and the amenities which were great. anything we needed was there."

"We had a lovely time! Weather was perfect. I toured the lake in one of the kayaks. We enjoyed stunning night sky clarity. Saw and heard loons, great blue herons, ducks, heard owls. We explored the local trails (Frenchman Bay Conservancy has many lovely properties).The house is large, very well equipped, had everything we wanted and lots of things to do. The drive to Acadia National Park is short enough to make it ok for a few days visits.The one time we contacted the owner, he responded immediately. We love this house, and highly recommend it!"

"Such a wonderful, beautiful, Unique property. Can't say how much I LOVED "camping" there. (I put camping in quotes because its more like GLAMPING.) Everything you could possibly need to go camping is already there. The little A frame for sleeping was perfect. Mattress was cozy and comfortable. It is right on a lake that is great for canoeing. There is another lake about 5 minutes down the road that is the MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE that has amazing swimming. Ask the owner for directions. The owner is amazing. Very communicative. Very helpful. Very kind. We are definitely doing back to stay on July the 4th. Such a perfect time to be there. Very thankful we found that place. The owner is a peach. Super sweet. 😀"
