"It was ideal for going to a UN conference; walking distance. I love Bryant Park for a dusk glass of bubbly, so that was nice. Not much great food around these parts but there’s a Whole Foods and enough. You can walk 30 minutes to better coffee and fresh foods at Think Cafe. The Japanese restaurant next door is decent for sure too. If your spending your time further uptown I recommend getting a closer hotel to that area & same goes for if you plan to spend more time in Lower East/West or Brooklyn (get a closer hotel to those parts). The trains are of course fast but nothing is that fast getting around the city. MOMA isn’t far so you can’t go wrong there. Everyone working here is great. The room was dark and as quiet as could be minus the noise from cleaners talking and just doing their thing. It wasn’t bad. I had a patio room and that was a lifesaver for someone who just need a little retreat from the chaos (though it could really use a tree or some green on it)."
