“Good but no hot water in tap”

“Decent hotel but no walk in shower which was shown on the Expedia website. Comfortable and quiet room for sleep and in a convenient location.”

“Wonderful staff and a great location for seeing all of Oban. Full Scottish breakfast is great fuel for hike up to the tower!”

“Whisky vaults has a great bar with live music, if we hadn’t been staying we would have missed a really good night. Room was clean with a comfy bed although the bathroom was very compact with very little room to manoeuvre. We had booked room only but were given a breakfast bag at check-in which was an unexpected surprise.”

“The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. ”

“Just back home from a two night stay , for a friends wedding me and my fiancé had an excellent stay , glori at the front desk was brilliant , she was very attentive and was great throughout our trip would highly recommend this hotel on the staff alone , ”

“Stayed in single room..very small but bed very comfortable. Could do with curtains in room as blind very light or make sure bring eye mask and ear plugs needed ..very noisy from adjacent rooms. ”

“The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. Bathroom door stuck every time and the bottom sheet was not big enough for the twin beds that had been pushed together. The downside was that there was a comment that we had booked through Expedia when we arrived. We know that booking through third party companies rather than directly can lead to guests being given the less favourable rooms which can be……
