「Like lipstick on a pig. Cheap updates made to an already outdated property. Paper thin towels and sheets. The 2nd floor was under construction. Had to move from a room on that floor. The room smelled damp and musty, like air hadn’t circulated in it for over a year. The front desk staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating.」

「Even i stay in non-smoking room, i smell smoke in bathroom while you switch on the fan in bathroom.」

「The hotel itself was fine, but I had a rather unpleasant experience due to some of the other guests. At around 1 a.m., there were guests constantly opening and closing their room doors, creating a lot of noise. Furthermore, several people were talking loudly and laughing in the hallway, making it impossible for me to get any rest. This lack of consideration for others' comfort was truly disappointing.」

「Good for a short stay if you are on a budget. I was in town just for the night to see a concert (the motel is 3.8 miles from Hershey Park and Giant Center). Outside looks run down, but the room was clean and comfortable. No frills, just your basic amenities (tv, wi-fi, etc.). Air conditioner worked great and the room was pretty quiet. Some minor maintenance issues, but nothing big. They have a pool, but it looked like it was closed.」

「The entire property was in disrepair and dirty. Nothing looked like it had online. I took pictures of the unacceptable state of the room, and went back to the office to hand in the key cards. I immediately checked out and my husband and I found a room elsewhere in town. I have stayed at plenty of other Econo Lodge locations and have had positive experiences with the chain.
