“Please don’t hesitate in booking this property. It was immaculate and the amenities far exceeded other properties I have stayed at. Plenty of paper products, towels and kitchen supplies. The owner has supplied everything you need, even throw blankets for the sofas when you want to cozy up in the cute living room. The king bed was extra comfy. Would absolutely stay here again.”

The drive from Lexington was so scenic. Definitely check out Wallace Station Deli right down the road. I would recommend this place to others traveling to the area.”

“The cottage is cute, very clean and spacious. We walked the trail down to the creek and around the main house one morning. Very peaceful. We met the donkeys Chet and Lloyd and fed them carrots. Convenient to distilleries and places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property!”

“The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. ”

“The cabin was incredibly cute, clean, and well equipped. The snacks and T-shirts made arrival extra welcoming! The property was so much fun to relax on! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the covered front porch every day. Our dogs enjoyed walking the grounds and hanging out with us in and around the cabin. Check in and check out were seamless and communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We thought we would go into Lexington or Louisville during this stay, but there were plenty of……

“We loved staying at Bourbon Barrel Cottages! It was a lovely getaway for us and our dog (yes, pet friendly!). Close to many distilleries but tucked away and peaceful. We enjoyed the hottub and fire pit each night and walking our dog every day. Looking forward to our next stay!”

Was even decorated for Christmas 🎄 We enjoyed roaming around the property with our dog. Definitely our new go to place for the Frankfort area.”

“Great house , location to the lake is perfect. Parking for boats is the only bad thing. You have to drop your boat outside the community entrance.”

“Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!”

“We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a graduation and it was perfect for our family and close to Asbury. There was a lot of extras…toiletries, other necessities and coffee as well as little things not thought of by most host. Places to improve would be to replace the vertical blinds with sheer/lightweight curtains. The futon was a bit challenging to manage. I would definitely stay again. ❤️”

“The house was very clean, she had wax warmers on for a nice scent all through the house. the road was extremely bumpy but that was in the description so no complaints here. the dock view was beautiful. some fire wood would have been nice to have though considering it did rain when we were there. overall a great experience!”
