“The house was absolutely freezing when we arrived, downstairs bedrooms smelled of damp. It took hours for the house to warm up and the kitchen and front downstairs bedroom didn’t ever warm up. The heating should have been set to come on so that it was warm before our expected arrival.There are draughts coming in around the windows in the kitchen, you can’t be in this room without the log burner on, Cold air comes down the fireplace in bedroom 1 which has a sheet stuffed up it to no effect, it……

Imagine our horror when opening the door to a steep flight of stairs!It does have a very solid hand rail which helped us cope for the 10 nights we were there. We were generally happy with all the amenities.The location is ideal.Parking on the road outside, or nearby, is difficult outside of normal working hours.”
