"We came to San Diego to visit friends and family in the neighborhood after moving away nine years ago. The apartment was a perfect base for all our activities. The bed was comfy. The kitchen is well equipped. We had many nice walks in the neighborhood."

It’s very clean and the location is very good, everything is a 5-10min drive for food and entertainment, but there are options within walking distance as well. The neighborhood is very walkable with lots of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We did not spend much time in the apartment except to shower and sleep but it seemed well equipped in the kitchen so if you needed to cook it would be doable. "This studio is very smartly designed to optimize space. I loved the balcony and full kitchen which was surprisingly stocked with spices. There was plenty of street parking during my visit, just watch the signs. I loved the location. It’s not walkable to stores, but the drive down Texas Street is just stunning. "We were supposed to come in right when the very first hurricane hit San Diego! The owner was communicative and let us know the status of the area so we knew we weren’t flying into a flooded disaster. We had one small issue with a missing tv remote and the handyman showed up with a replacement remote within the hour! The outside backyard area was a bit dirty but there was a tropical storm that had blown through the day before so I’ll give this piece a pass but this was not a useable space for us....
