"Everything about our stay was excellent. The apartment is 3 flights up but a gentleman met us on arrival to carry our luggage up. We cannot thank Alain for her excellent service in making sure that our stay was good. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. We were supplied with basic foods/drinks tea/coffee, milk etc. which was a nice touch. DVDs were supplied as well as Netflix. We enjoyed the apartment so much we hope to be back next year."

"Great location but the whole place needs a good tidy up. Its like a building site. If this had been an overseas package holiday i would have rung the rep. The gardens are full of items strewn all over. Do you check out these cottages or just write what the owner gives you. Stinks of mis-representation to me!!!! The bins were put out on Monday and werent returned till Thursday so the pedal bins were inside in hot weather, one of the owners promised them back on Wednesday but it didn't happen.....

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. "We had a great stay for 2 nights the room was comfortable and clean the only things lacking in the room were a fridge and the TV didn’t have Netflix. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only ate in the bar and the food was good and not too expensive. We visited the spa and the steam, sauna and jacuzzi were brilliant but the pool was too cold. We would definitely stay here again."

"Clean large room with comfy bed and bedding. Good tea and Coffee facilities, exceptional shower - this was very welcome. The Spa was great, had a lovely Elemis Facial/ Sadly the food was not great, the Belly Pork and mustard mash for my evening meal was very very dry, tough and very chewy. The restaurant area looks like it might be having a upgrade, perhaps better to try once upgraded. Breakfast was served in the room and was very good, although I did receive the incorrect cereal, but did not complain as was in a rush. I would definitely stay there again, but probably on a bed & breakfast basis rather than half board."
