“We moved from the area over 25 years ago. We were coming back for Easter and read some of the reviews and was skeptical of staying. We walked in and were greeted with two very friendly staff. The room was clean and we loved the larger fridge. We did not eat at the breakfast buffet only because we were off to a family members house for breakfast on Easter but my husband got coffee and said it looked good. Checking out we had another two very friendly staff members. I would stay there again……

“After check in our Tv displayed a message that said “scrambled or weak signal.” Reporting this to the night shift clerk was pointless…. She said “ there is nothing I can do about this. “Very disappointed in this place. First stay was good, very predictable Marriott quality. Our last stay was awful. Booked into one of the only available rooms, a double king, which isn’t a big deal. “hotel is conveniently located to the Capital Theater, an easy walk. The lobby and room was spacious, clean. and good repair. Our room only had 1 desk chair and it would have nice to have more seating besides the beds. When we booked the room, we didn't realize that the rooftop bar is indoor/outdoor and not open in mid-April. The onsite restaurant was nice but kitchen was closed at 10pm on a Friday when got back from the theater. ”

"I checked in at 8 pm.Room is dirty with someone’s hair on the desk and room is filled with someone else’s perfume smell. Toilet still have paper in it. The room card’s demagnetize frequently. I have to go to front desk to reactivate again and again. Happened to have my door card deactivated unfortunately around 1am while getting some ice. No one’s at the reception and no staff is around. Waited there till around 3:15am when the reception lady returned from somewhere. Definitely terrible experience."
