「I broke down last night and booked this hotel.... Very late arrival after midnight but staff were fantastic, quick check in... Into room and sleep. Explained circumstances in the morning about what's happened and as in on medication they offered me something to eat and drink so i could take my medication. Great staff and very friendly, property is very nice, room was huge, very comfortable bed and shower excellent. Great stay and keep up the good work. 」

「The Arden held the charm of my 10-day trip. It is located across the street from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. I stayed in a Deluxe room with an incredible bathroom! It had a huge tub and dual rain-showers. It appeared newly renovated. Breakfast was both a la carte and buffet. Dinner was a nice atmosphere, inside and outside. I think the most delight was created by the staff, specifically the hotel manager Sai who was so kind and attentive.」

「Place is excellent. Room is clean and cozy. Restaurant and pub is top notch - all dishes I've tried are superb. I have stayed here before, but had few issues with the shower - no issues this time at all (water pressure is excellent). 」

「This is a lovely hotel . Very nice room , comfortable and clean. Bathroom was excellent. The dinning area was very nice , food was excellent and the staff were so helpful. In the morning for breakfast the lady who served me even made sure my dog got his own sausage for breakfast . Lovely friendly feel about the place and perfect location to explore the town. 「Lovely large bed but a tiny bathroom, although if space is limited that is the best way around so suited us fine. Pleasantly surprised to find permit parking available right at the door of the property, although £4.50 for 24 hours just 200 yards or so away was also most acceptable. Very pleasant, easy walk across Jephson Gardens to the town centre. Reasonable walk to Victoria Park for the Bowls England national finals. Generous breakfast. A great find.」
