「Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed warmly with a Turkish coffee and loved the historical property. This is my 3rd trip to Istanbul in the last couple of years and this is one of my favourite neighbourhoods. There are so many great cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. 「The hotel was very different, which we liked. Very antique and old fashioned features. There were some amazing pictures of old Istanbul. The only thing the room didn’t have that we like in a room, is a safe. Other than that it had tea and coffee making facilities, lift to the room, and in a great location. 」

「Hotel is in great location. Staff service was average and could have been better and more friendly I think. We had to ask twice for lower pillows which they said wasn't available the first time we asked. They also promised a higher floor room for us to change into, but never happened. The hotel is on a major road so could be noisy with the traffic, but the sea view from the room is amazing. 」

「The biggest suite is on top of the last level the elevator/lift can reach. Meaning that you will have to walk on stairs. If you don’t want to climb any stairs, make sure you ask the staff before you book.」
