“It's our home away from home whenever we're in Scotland. It's a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. Breakfast is always amazing. The only thing that wasn't great for us this time was that the swimming pool was closed a couple of times for maintenance. Staff members are always lovely. The rooms are specious and well appointed, but our room (342) could have done with deep clean as it was a bit dusty under the beds and behind furniture, there was also an open bottle of wine in the fridge which……

“We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive……
