“The water park was a lot of fun. They have several arcade games at this hotel. The free breakfast on the second floor was great. The only negative thing about breakfast was, they didn’t have waffles. My kids love waffles. I personally enjoyed the scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy. They also had cereal & milk. The rooms were nice and spacious. Gorgeous view of the river from the 6th floor. They cleaning staff were amazing, helpful, and super friendly. ”

“The property is a historic building. The lobby was very nice. The staff was professional. The room was decent. Our room had a door connecting to the next one over. They were not part of our group and unfortunately, we heard more than we should have from their room. Other than that, our experience was good. I enjoyed the walking map of the murals. It is a great location as it’s close to the art museum and the Mississippi River aquarium and museum.”

“Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was helpful and wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Had to pay $15 per day to park in the garage under the hotel. There were limited spots, so friends in our group had to park in a garage 3 blocks away in the “overflow” parking. Also we did not realize that this hotel is literally in downtown Iowa City right next to the campus, bars, etc. There were some loud young people staying in our hotel. If you are looking for that scene it is the perfect location. ”

“Our stay was terrible. The room had tile flooring which was cold and made the room echo. The trim around the bottom of the bathroom wall was coming off. The shower drain was so clogged that you were standing in water about an inch or two above your ankle. We did,however, keep getting told by the person that checked us in that we had a private patio. It was winter time and it faced the parking lot. We will never stay there again. ”

“看起来酒店有很多年的历史，被子有点旧，这几天很冷没有暖气，前台工作人员告诉我们没有暖气，但是她们提供了毛毯，酒店大堂的水流声真的很吵闹，好在隔音还不错，早餐只供应到9点，唯一的热食只有芙蓉蛋，我起床时间比较晚，8点55分到达餐厅的时候，只来的及点了一份芙蓉蛋和一杯果汁，然后她们开始收拾关闭早餐，也没有咨询我是否还需要更多的食物，因为她们准备关闭早餐供应。整体来说，性价比一般，不值得你花费180美金住宿一晚。”
