“To start … pulling up to Hotel Del Sol was incredible!! The staff was helpful getting off of the boat. Check in was a breeze. Room was very clean! Beach is unbelievable! Dive off the dock and enjoy the ocean. What I really enjoyed was the gated swim area! Food is unreal, was very surprised on how delicious the food was, given where we were. Food in Colombia was off the chart GREAT! We are coming back in a couple months. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants PARADISE!!! ……

“Great and unique experience! Very friendly staff and we always felt very welcome. We were upgraded to the suite only 2 meters from Caribbean Sea - very clear water with many shades of blue and green colours. Great snorkling just outside the door. Especially the evening and the morning were a unique and great experience as we were quite alone with only 10-12 other people on the island. The place is a little worn, especially after a big storm 5 weeks earlier - but it contributed to the unique……

“I really loved this stay! The island was very nice, I loved being able to immerse myself in nature. I saw wild parrots too! The island is very walkable, and there is a little store next door with sodas and chips, which we enjoyed. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the outdoor hammock. The dogs were super friendly and so were the cats! The fan was enough to keep us cool, and the shower was great for if you get hot. Check-in was smooth and we were offered a place to store our luggage at……

“We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that……

“After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. At the hotel, overnight guests have no……

“Corona Island is an absolute paradise! 🌴 A beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters and white sand, surrounded by mangroves and exotic wildlife, including the cutest little monkeys. 🐒 The entire staff provided excellent service, the meals were included, and the food was absolutely delicious. There’s also a beautiful snorkeling area where you can see lots of colorful fish. 🐠 The cabins were super comfortable, making the whole experience truly wonderful. I hope I can come back soon!……
