“As advertised. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cool concept! Very unique.”

“I reserved this hotel from June 27–July 5 but had to check out early. On June 29 around 10:30 p.m., I found multiple roaches in my room. I immediately packed my belongings and checked into another hotel. Since the front desk was closed, I returned the next morning with my husband, showed Donna photos and videos of the roaches, and officially checked out. Donna at the front desk apologized, said the property is fumigated every three months, and told us a manager would contact me about the unused……

“I arrived to find that my room was overbooked and already taken . I was offered two other rooms that were not acceptable. One without a sofa and one with no view. After traveling to the keys from Ft. Lauderdale it was most disappointing. They offered a refund and it took me three hours to find somewhere else to stay. Will not come back”

“The hostess/ staff was amazing! Walking the property check in and making sure everyone had their needs met. She even decorated and brought a cupcake for my husband as we were celebrating his birthday. Very thoughtful! Very clean and enjoyable place. Love the quiet no kids, relaxing vibe! Kayaking and paddle boarding along the coast was great too. The sunsets from the property were amazing!”

“The villa we stayed at was ideal for our family traveling with our dog for a 2N stay 4th or July weekend. The property and location exceeded our expectations and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We recommend this place.”

“Our biggest complaint was that there were only six lounge chairs and three umbrellas by the Pool area which overlooked the ocean. Obviously, we had to wait for someone to leave. The Pool deck area was the resorts most attractive amenity and it was not adequately equipped. Unfortunately, we would not recommend or return to this resort.”

“Islander Resort... WOW! This place will WOW you in the keys. From the beautifully decorated rooms that are spacious, to the large patios, to the walkable grounds all in white sand and beautifully clean grounds. You will walk from your rooms towards the BEAUTIFUL view of the Florida bay. Incredible view from this resort. Featuring two wonderful pools. The pools aren't very big and I could see them getting crowded in the busy season. Plenty of loungers and the bar by the pools is wonderful. The……

“We had a great day here and I would recommend it to anybody and everybody. We got a little Casita really nice and quaint close to the beach. They’re close to a number of different hangout spots and just a nice spot to stay.”

“I didn’t like that we couldn’t use the beach because the seaweed was not removed to make beach accesible. Also our room floor was dirty, appears that it has not been cleaned with water for a long time; when walking barefoot in room our feet became very very dirty with floor dirt. Room floor should be cleaned with water to remove dirt. Resort is very nice, employees are great, kind and very friendly. I hope my above recommendation is taken into consideration and resolved. Thank you!”
