“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Our first night at the hotel was a little rough because the vent in the bathroom kept going off and sounded like someone was drilling into the wall during the night. Thankfully, after speaking with management the next day, they were very responsive and sent someone out immediately to fix the issue. After that, everything was smooth sailing. The property is beautiful, the location is great, and the restaurant was very good. We really appreciated how quickly the staff handled the problem and made……

“I was very disappointed with this room. It looked nothing like the photos or what was advertised. The room was outdated, had a terrible odor as soon as we walked in, and the beds did not appear to be clean. Overall, it felt poorly maintained and was not the quality we expected. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this property based on our experience”

“I wish we could stay more than 2 nights. The management was amazing. An inn-keeper even took me downtown to show me where to have a massage the next day. She oversaw breakfast and made sure everyone got their orders right away. The rooms were amazing: clean, had cloud like mattress toppers, super-soft pillows, AC, fireplaces, double-sized spa tubs, private balconies and invited wineries for evening tastings.
