「Nice modern flat for the price. Don't expect luxury but has everything we needed and was very clean. Lovely location 」

「First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand. The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. Probably the most basic stay I've ever had but not bad at all, you get what you pay for. Dealing with Marta was a delight, great...

「We rented this property for Christmas, and it was absolutely fantastic. The hosts were so friendly and there were lots of clear instructions on how to use the hot tub etc. The location was perfect, and we LOVED the decor of the place - so quirky and right up our street as we are a rock n roll loving family. 「Lovely functioning mildly old school cabin in the middle of the country side. Very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed. Our dogs were content. Very quiet. Lots of helpful comms with Antonia. We’d stay again. Previous reviews somewhat amusing….”questionable road quality”…..have these people ever left the city? We enjoyed The Shed.」

「We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.」

「There is nothing to fault. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and well furnished to a high standard, with excellent views. There are some very pleasant small details on arrival (a loaf of bread, cake, butter, milk, tea, coffee and a selection of biscuits and jams). Paul and Jill are delightful and amusing hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.」

「Rob actually offered an upgrade to the property next door as last minute essential maintenance was being undertaken in the listed property. The experience was sublime. A beautiful property tastefully furnished catering for every need. The swimming pool and hot tub were spa standard. We all had the most amazing stay. 」

「We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.」
