「Our room was clean but rather gloomy. The old furniture was oppressive and the TV could have been fixed to the wall and a more practical chest of drawers to replace the table it occupied. The bed was in need of a new mattress but the pillows were decent and the crisp white bedding was nice to climb into. The shower room was huge, with a good shower unit. However the hot water from the sink tap seems to originate in Bristol, it took so long to arrive. We ate in the restaurant and the food was hot...

「The room was pretty decent, and large, and the beds were comfortable, but otherwise the whole place was somewhat run down and not by well maintained, with a musty smell throughout, including in the room and bathroom. The place is just OK, at best. They were no staff there, and it was difficult to communicate with them via email, or text, or Expedia, and you may or may not get a reply. Check-in instructions were not adequate and if you show up early, the place, and the adjoining pub, is closed...
