"The room itself was very nice, and it worked well for our family of 4. Everything is new, and the space is stylishly designed, which is sometimes hard to find in smaller towns in Japan. The challenge is the property is a 10-15 minute walk, along a main road, to any restaurant or cafe, etc. There's a 7-11 nearby, but apart from that, you're alongside a busy road and a highway off-ramp ... and not much else. If you have a car, this is no issue. But for us, with two young kids, and of course...

"We had a fantastic stay at this Ratuken property! The fit out of the projector in the bedroom, and the comfortable furniture make this a very comfortable stay for two. It would easily handle more people. It's a sizeable apartment. The private semi-outdoor onsen/bath with artificial minerals is a fantastic touch. Very relaxing! It's a short walk from town and there are convenience stores nearby. Highly recommended! "
