“staff are helpful, especially Geogria, we were first assigned to a room far away from elevators and we requested for change, Geogria helped us to manage to change to a room closer. The location of the hotel is good, breakfast has limited choices but still fine. ”
“Perfekte Lage am Südufer der Themse, Brücken und damit City of London fußläufig erreichbar. Der tolle Borough Market direkt ums Eck. Gutes Frühstück, schöne, zweckmäßige Zimmer und im Eingangsbereich nette Theaterdeko. Jederzeit wieder!”
“Most likely the best hotel in London. The house holds so much tradition and the owners have done an amazing job upgrading everything without losing the feel and flair. Was expecting James Bond to come around the corner. The staff is incredible ”
“The Shangri-La at The Shard in London, staying in a room with an iconic view, offers a clear vista of the Tower Bridge and various important landmarks. The dinners and breakfasts provided by the TING restaurant are excellent. The front desk also offers service in fluent Chinese and English. Other Shangri-La hotels should consider this establishment's service standards as a worthwhile example to emulate.”
"The Hotel is close to St Paul’s Cathedral and the London Bridge. The London Eye is also close by. It has a bus stop right next to it where you can take a bus to the Farringdon Station for the Elizabeth Line to LHR. Staffs are very helpful and the breakfast is delicious."
"Excellent location. The kitchenette was a plus. However, there was only 1 drop-off spot in front of the hotel so it wasn't convenient to load your luggage. "
"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily.
Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
