「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. 「Disappointed in this stay. We requested a twin room setup, which was confirmed by the property, but when we arrived, the beds were made up as one bed. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands, so we had to go back to the main guest house to request the complimentary toiletries that the description and check-in guide indicated would be provided for the bathroom. 「A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too.
