“This place is a gem. We loved our brief stay at this charming, old-school lodge on a lake. We were welcomed with mulled cider (adult mix), brownies, and kindness by a charming hostess who turned was helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and well appointed. We had a lovely view of Laurel Lake. The bed was comfortable and the bedding of high quality. Breakfast more than met our exectations. We can't wait to come back!”

“The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The parking lots and grounds were unsafe. It's winter time and they should know better. Each time we went to our car we felt we were going to slip and fall. Same with the path from our room to the breakfast area. We came here for a relaxing baby moon and feared for our safety any time we left the room. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon we were told the parking lots would soon be plowed.
