「My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hollow Hideaway. It is a cozy and tastefully decorated home with comfortable beds and sofas. It was super clean and stocked with everything that we needed. The house is in a quiet area but is close enough to take trips to several nearby towns. We spent time in Shepherdstown, Harper's Ferry, Frederick, and Westminster. Suzanne is a great host who communicated well with us. This home is a gem!」

「Clean. Sufficient for our needs. The neighbors' ponies were a great attraction. Super happy for a quiet country location. The master bed was comfortably firm. Phone call seemed to work the best for communication upon checkin with property manager. When reached, he was very helpful.」

「This is a quaint old farmhouse hosted by a very nice family. Lots of wildlife in the area and convenient to the Damascus and Gaithersburg area. The kids enjoyed the chickens and fresh eggs and a ride on the ATV.」

「My partner and I booked the house for a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend with 20 friends and it was a blast. The location is perfect — secluded but only a few minutes from wineries and town. The house is amazing — spacious and comfortable with tons of games and amenities. We had both adults and an infant and everyone had everything they needed. We had no issues at all with the solar power and had plenty of electricity at all times. The only thing that may not be clear from the listing is...

「The house exceeded my expectations. it was very clean, well stocked and perfect for the 3 of us.」

「We were very disillusioned with the inside of the property in contrast to the description. We were prepared for the working farm environment however, during the course of our stay we killed over 8 dozen flies. Cobwebs were present throughout the inside of the property and "complimentary toiletries" were in actuality well-used, full-size bottles of various items hanging on a shower caddy. The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall but rather sitting atop wood trim above the shower walls....
