「A friend and I needed a weekend of quiet, respite, and rejuvenation, and that's just what we got! Sitting on top of a mountain, the house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lots of spaces to inhabit. Ditto the patio and grounds so each of us were able to enjoy much needed "me time" surrounded by dwarf iris, creeping phlox, pink azaleas, and flame azaleas, which drew dozens of butterflies! 「If you're looking for the Waldorf Astoria, this ain't it! Still I give it high marks and look forward to returning. The room was comfortable and practical. We had everything we needed. The price was reasonable - especially for "pet friendly" and the hosts, Sam and Mita, made us feel like we were staying with family. This area was hit hard by Hurricane Helene and a few items still need a little "tightning up" such as pot holes at the hotel entrance, but the massive efforts on post hurricane...
