8 lazy french friends

Au nom de toute la team, merci pour ces vacance au-dessus de nos espérances! ce surf camp a une âme d'artiste et une atmosphère des plus paisible… bien que nous ayons fait un peu plus de bruit que la moyenne! Les petits déjeuners sont au top! les barbecues aussi! vraiment délicieux! Les cours de surf géniaux même si on a bien pratiqué l'école buissonnière (4h par jour pendant 5 jours, ça pique). Le spot est parfait pour les débutants comme pour les confirmés. Les équipes Da Silva Surf Camp sont au top, encore merci! On a eu un blessé au surf dans l'équipe, et il a très vite été pris en charge, pompier, urgence, etc (rien de grave,une foulure). Notre seul conseil est de prendre de l'anti moustique! Nous recommandons sans autres cet endroit magique! From all the team, thanks for these holidays above our expectations. This surf camp has a soul of an artist, a chill and quiet atmosphere … even we were a bit louder than the average. Breakfasts are awesome ! Barbercues are amazing as well ! Absolutely delicious ! Surf classes are nice even if we didn't achieve every lesson (4h per day during 5 days is a bit too much). The spot is perfect for beginners as well as advanced surfers. Da Silva surf camp team is gorgeous, thanks again ! We had one injured person in the team, and they quickly took care of him with firemen, emergencies, (fortunately nothing serious, just a sprain). Our only advice is to take an insect repellent ! We recommend to anyone this magical place.

Was bleibt? Abseits der Wellen? Dem Strand?

Land und Leute!!! Für mich einfach das Beste!!! Einen Eindruck von der Lebensweise und Kultur zu bekommen - ist für mich immer auch einer der Gründe warum ich ins Ausland fahre - weshalb ich mir mit Surfcamps eigentlich auch immer etwas schwer tue... doch diesmal ging dieser Wunsch dank der Besitzer mehr als in Erfüllung. Neben ausgiebigen Surfsessions - ich hatte einen Fortgeschrittenen-Kurs belegt, um mich ein bisschen anzubiedern ;) waren es besonders die Ausflüge, die abendlichen Restaurantbesuche und Grillfeste die immer unter Teilhabe zahlreicher Locals z.B. der Surfschule stattfanden und so alles sehr vertraut haben wirken lassen. Eine bessere Einführung in die portugiesische Kultur und Mentalität hätte ich mir nicht wünschen können, auch beim Feiern :) Ich fands einfach toll...

Tolle Atmosphäre

Ich fands total schön im Da Silva Surfcamp und kann das Haus nur jedem empfehlen, der etwas abseits des gewöhnlichen Surf-Trubels sucht. Entspannte Atmosphäre statt albernem Gehabe und eine hinsichtlich Alter und Geschlecht bunt gemischte, sehr angenehme Truppe. Dickes Lob hier auch an das Besitzerpärchen bei dem man sich fühlte wie bei portugiesischen Freunden. Der Surf - je nach Bedingung in Praia Areia Branca, Peniche oder auch Baleal - war super und obwohl nicht dem Kurs der Ripar-Surfschule zugehörig, habe ich mich schnell in die dortige Surf-Community eingebunden gefühlt. Die Jungs waren super nett!

Camp und Beachhouse!!!

Da Daniel (da Silva) letztes Jahr bereits unser Vermieter war hab ich mich diesmal kruzfristig für einen Besuch in seinem Camp, besser in dem neueröffneten Beachhouse entschlossen. Praia Areia Branca ist der Hammer zum Surfen und für alle Eventualitäten steht in etwas mehr als 10km Peniche mit seinen zahlreichen Spots zur Verfügung. Ein Plus auch hier, die Surfschule ist direkt nebenan. Ich hab mich als Alleinreisende einfach nur rundum wohlgefühlt und konnte dank der Nähe zum Strand auch meinem Drang nach Unabhängigkeit vollkommen nachgeben... Schön, gemütlich und sehr familär empfand ich nicht nur das Hostel sondern auch den Umgang mit mir als Gast!!! Vom Surf hin zu den gemeinsamen Grillabenden im Camp oder den Restaurantbesuchen... einfach nur schön!!!

Wer nicht da war, versteht es nicht :)

Wer nicht da war versteht es nicht. :) Das Camp und seine Crew bieten genau die richtige Homebase, wenn man surfen und das einzigartige Flair der Praia da Areia Branca genießen will: open-minded, freundlich, mit Sonne im Herzen, einfach und doch sexy-elegant. Land und Leute laden zum entspannen ein und die richtige Portion action wird absolut geboten. Dank der Jungs von der Ripar-Surschool definitiv auch ein Must-GO für Anfänger - allen anderen bieten sich auf 15 Kilometern zahlreiche Beaches die bei jeder Kondition Wellen werfen. Der Campleiter und sein Team sind auch hierfür genau die richtigen Ansprechpartner ;) Werde wiederkommen und amigos mitbringen!

Once again 2014

Eigentlich kann ich nur wiederholen was ich bereits hinsichtlich meines Single-Aufenthalts 2013 ausgeführt habe... Diesmal gemeinsam mit einer Freundin bei Daniel haben wir uns wieder derart wohlgefühlt, dass uns die Abreise echt schwer fiel. Eine tolle Zeit mit tollen Wellen und einem unvergesslichen Surftrip mit der Crew der alles toppte und seinen Abschluss in einem kleinen superfeinen Fischrestaurant fand. Nur zu empfehlen... auch der Fisch :)

Der Bringer!!!

Die Atmosphäre im Camp und drum rum ist großartig, ich hatte ne super Zeit und würde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehn. Man bekommt außerordentlich viel geboten für sein Geld, so konnte ich z.B. während mein Brett in Reparatur war kostenlos eines vom Chef nutzen, was schlicht der Bringer war. Dass dieser auch gerne mal mit ins Wasser geht, ist zudem ein unbezahlbarer Vorteil für Surfbegeisterte da er einen gerne auch mal mit zu seinen Home Spots nimmt. Deshalb auch für "Fortgeschrittene" Surfer sehr zu empfehlen! Zu Surfkurs und Schule kann ich leider nichts sagen da ich letztes Jahr zum freien Surfen da war, die anderen Gästen haben sich aber allesamt sehr angetan gezeigt.

Un piacere!!!

Siamo stati (un grupo tedesco/italiano) ospiti nel DaSilva surfcamp l'anno scorso e che devo dire... ci siamo trovati tutti quanti molto bene e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! L'hostel e tanto carino, comodo e famigliare e Daniel e la sua gente si preoccupava tutto il tempo di noi... iniciando con il surf a finire con delle belle serate facendo il grill oppure mangiando il pesce ottimo in un piccolo ristorante a consolacao ;) E stato un piacere... alla prossima. Jederzeit gerne wieder

Als Alleinreisende (Betty ;) hatte ich mich für meinen Kurzurlaub für das DaSilva Camp entschlossen und ich habe die Zeit mehr als genossen. Camp und Leitung waren toll und meinem vordringlichen Interesse (Surfen) wurde von früh bis spät stattgegeben. Die ländliche Umgebung und unmittelbare Nähe zum Homebeach waren für mich die perfekte Mischung aus action und Erholung. Gemütlich war es und sehr herzlich. Ein toller, bleibender Eindruck der sich inzwischen bestätigen durfte :)

Einfach nur superschön!!!

Superschönes Surfcamp, das ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen kann der Surfen und nette Leute kennen lernen möchte!!! Ich war im April mit einer Freund hier und wir beide haben uns im Camp wie zuhause gefühlt, was uns wahnsinnig gut gefallen hat! Die Betreiber gaben sich total viel Mühe, es gab leckeres Frühstück, Beachcruiser, ein paar Ausflüge (z.B. CAndlelight-Dinner in einer alten Mühle :) und auch sonst fehlte es an nichts. Cool war auch, dass wir aufgrund der Saison nur zu fünft im Surfkurs (Ripar) waren und dementsprechend viel gelernt haben, der Surflehrer (Pipas) war überhaupt ein absolut cooler Typ und seine Lunchpakete legendär ;)
