「Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for.
Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned.
Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented.
Hotel room a low 3 star at best.」
「Good sized hotel with Spa facilities. Friendly staff at reception and the bar/restaurant. The meal at the restaurant was good, fairly pricey though. Plenty of parking and a 25 min walk to the centre of Llanelli.」
「We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended.」
「Firstly, the chalet was very difficult to find. The host only gave us the instruction to check the map outside reception. After having to find a member of bar staff (as reception had closed by the time of our arrival), we were told this map had long been removed.
Secondly, the chalet had a mould issue. The cabin had a foul odour throughout of damp. There was mould on the curtains and around fixtures and fittings.
Thirdly, the shower did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you were up...
