"Located in the centre of town and with a car park which is very useful. Really helpful communication prior to arrival and a friendly welcome. The room was big and comfortable. A good selection at breakfast. We stayed here for one night to break up a bigger journey and would not hesitate to book again if we had to repeat this."

"Loved its location, just a short walk from the beach, although slightly steep. Free parking. We loved the hotel, although it appeared a little dated and maybe required some upkeep, it had great facilities and staff. It had a swimming pool, a pool table in a conservatory with tables. The rooms were great, we had the family studio and it had a large bedroom, great comfy bed, through which was a small kitchenette, with dining table and another 2 single beds and a fan. Couldn't fault the space. The only thing I would say is that if the curtains were blackout, we would have had a better sleep. We really liked it and would stay again"

"We had a lovely stay at Picton House. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and after looking around at the beautiful common rooms, shared a drink and conversation with the owners before retiring. The owners were most friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for things to explore in the area. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good shower and unusually well stocked tea service. Breakfast was excellent. There is a lovely large patio outside, as well as a picnic area along the river. Bottom line, we were truly made to feel like guests. We will definitely stay again when we inevitably return to explore the area more thoroughly."

"Comfortable stay, very central to town. Would like to thank Lucy for our efficient check-in, as room wasn't ready she had my phone number and informed me when my room was ready as we wanted to explore the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a beautiful hot breakfast in the morning."

"A hidden gem in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The staff were the highlight. Property was beautiful - rooms exceptionally clean and well maintained. Comfy beds - great shower. I was going to try the spa but the cocktails won :D"
