Great location and fun vibe.

Great place and unbeatable location

This home has everything you need for an awesome beach getaway in Los Angeles. It's located between Venice and Santa Monica, which makes it minutes away to great restaurants and all sorts of leisure activities. Will definitely stay here with the family again.

Nice clean home close to everything

A little tight parking in front but once you entered everything was clean and well arranged. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. 5 min walk to Venus beach was nice. Overall great experience with our 5 night stay.

Great stay

This was just the right place for me, my brother and his two adult sons for our visit to the Rose Bowl (Go Blue!). Love being close to the ocean and Venice. Our only small snafu was promptly solved by the host.

Nice clean, remodeled house

Only issue was we couldn’t find the TV remote — finally saw it under the couch. The cleaners should make sure this is visible.

Excellent

The house was very clean, comfortable and modern. It had everything we needed for our stay. Location was close to the beach, and places to eat. Safety was a concern due to the homeless population wondering right by the house, but nobody actually bothered us. Parking was a chore, but doable.

New years

Overall the property was great and close to the beach. It had everything we needed for our time there and I would have given it 5 stars but we found the front steps to be in poor shape with parts of the brick missing making it easy to lose your footing or fall. My dad strained his quad while going down the steps while missing his footing and subsequently didn’t start the new year off how he imagined needing crutches to get around. I would recommend they aim to help improve the quality of the front steps.

Close to beach

Lovely 3 bedroom house, a short distance from the beach. The house was clean and well maintained. Would have loved an electric kettle and a couple more mugs, but the old school whistle kettle from the 90s was helpful. Otherwise, pretty much everything was there and in working order. The check in process needs to be refined, as no email was received with the necessary codes. Ended up needing to call.

Great location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is a block from the beach. The location is great. Area is very quiet. Many things in walking distance. Parking is small and can only fit small vehicle. My only complaint is there is no air conditioner in this unit and it is pretty hot during the day. At night you can cool off with windows open.

Clean quaint beach house

The house was clean, comfortable and close to the beach, but I am a "suburbs girl" and had a hard time with the compact living of the neighborhood. There is zero outdoor yard space and the houses are right on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towel and linens. If you plan to cook, the kitchen is minimally equipped. The parking space is very small and you have to hop the curb to access it. The property management team is very responsive and easy to work with.

homeless camps and drug usage

Home is fine, area is terrible. Not beachside, not a dream or a gem. We witnessed two people doing crack in front on the house. There were people going through the trash can. And the trash wasn't picked up by the city. There are hundreds of homeless camps at the beach and surrounding streets. We ended up driving to safer areas to visit the beach.

My wife, sister, brother-in-law, and niece stayed at this property while we were in town for a wedding. The property was exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable for all of us. The parking spot was tight, but I was able to maneuver a mid-sized SUV into it. Additional parking in the neighborhood was hard to come by (we got a parking ticket). The check-in seemed a little late (4pm) and check-out a little early (10am), but it didn't affect our plans much. The property managers communicated well, but be prepared to have your inbox filled with e-mails from them.

My Review of bungalow house

The property is very nice and exceptionally clean. I actually loved the house. Doesn't have air but I learned a lot of houses in L A don't. But if you open the windows you can get a nice cross breeze. We just happen to be there during a heatwave. The management brought additional fans and the house had ceiling fans in every room but a window unit would be a nice addition. I think they should add one. That would do it. They location is great about 7 blocks from the beach. My family had a great time! Thank you.

Perfect Location

Took our grandson and friend to SoCal for his 15th birthday. We did a trip a few years ago and he kept bringing up how much he liked it. My wife and I also had visited Santa Monica a few time and bike riding the coast was on our bucket list. This location was perfect for everything we wanted to to. Went to 6 Flags and Universal Studios too. Was very lucky with traffic and each leg was quick. There is a lot of good shopping and eating within walking distance. Bottom line my grandson said it was even better than he remembered and we scratched off one item on bucket list. The house was very nice and roomy. My only complaint is it should be clear that only a compact or sub-compact car can fit in the parking space. I had to always park a block or two away. Always found a spot but this could be a source of frustration for others.

Prime Location!

Conveniently located place. Used it as a base location to visit Venice Beach and surrounding areas (Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc). Only reason we gave an overall 4 rating was due to some cleanliness issues (no A/C so ceiling fans are a must to use, but the fan blades had caked on dust, the top of the fridge as well and some towels looked used). That said, the property manager offered to send someone to clean the fan blades but we opted to do it ourselves. Still a great stay and a great beach house that I would recommend!

Great location

The property is located close to the beach and close to Abbot Kinney. We found it to be walkable to many places including the Venice Canals and even Santa Monica Pier. Would stay here again.

cute little house

Great bungalow 2 blocks from the beach and walking between Venice and Santa Monica. Super fun place for family. Easy kitchen to use or you are close to fun restaurants. Management was easy to interact with. Loved being there. Hope to come back!
