Amazing resort. From the minute you entered the gorgeous open air lobby the staff was very welcoming. Your wish was their command. From the 7 restaurants, to every bar/lounge, and the two pools the service was overwhelming. The best we have ever experienced. We reserved a room with a swim up feature. My first ever experience. It was enjoyable. The grounds were well landscaped and maintained. I highly recommend this resort.

The staff are second to none. I wish I could have taken the time to record the name of every person I interacted with, but a few standouts: Roberto, my Reserve concierge; Carlos, the pool concierge; and another pool attendant, I believe his name was Enrique. Roberto brought me to my room, provided me with his personal cell number, maintained contact with me throughout my stay, and ensured my group and I had cabanas reserved at the pool. The staff made my stay five-star. My Reserve swim-up was clean, and I liked the private pool. I do wish the deck area of the swim-up suites were a little more private. The rooms are quiet, and I was never disturbed by other guests. The turndown service was something else I enjoyed, after a long day, coming back to my room having been tidied. I LOVED the beach cabanas - nothing like swimming in the Sea of Cortez. The concierge staff at the beach was also amazing. Some things that could have been better: I didn't care for most of the food. I came prepared to try new things, but I found 98% of the food lacking flavor and it appeared dry and mostly unappealing. I'm sure it's difficult to prepare the amount of food required for the resort, and it was not a deal breaker. The beach should be combed better - there are small strips of plastic everywhere, I assume from weddings, etc. held on the beach and the wildlife suffers because humans don't pick up their trash. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I would return to this resort.

I have stayed at several other Paradisus hotels and adore them. This one might have been the best, in large part due to the incredible staff. They were warm, helpful, and gracious. I would specifically mention several folks: Diego and Fernando at the front desk, waiters Juan Antonio and Emiliano, Kevin at the pool, Freddy the bellman, and Alan and Jesus in Activities. The resort is beautiful and the food excellent and wonderfully diverse. Cielo and Sante were my favorites for unique and well-prepared meals. Very well maintained grounds. What a treat to have the Nespresso cafe on site as well for grab-and-go! The only area of improvement might be the in-room Nespresso maker, which didn't work very well. But otherwise, the week I spent there exceeded my expectations!

The staff was excellent. The beach and pool attendents and servers were superb. They would help reserve and set up the cabanas, bring beverages and food etc....super nice. Pool and beach were great. Everything was clean. It works best to notify housekeeping if you would like your room cleaned by a specific time. Food was pretty good. Only improvements would be morning yoga classes maybe and better circulation in the workout room. Also, we requested a hot pot 2x...it never came. We quit asking

My stay at this resort was amazing. The staff awesome, really took care of all our needs. Plenty of things to do once we got there. Food was tasty and no real probably with availability. Would recommend this place especially if you are trying to relax.

Great adult resort. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great pool. Food was overall very good. Gym small (this could be improved). Beach is beautiful, but is rocks, not sand although there is one small sandy-ish area in the swimming cove. Great resort overall!

This was our first time at this property. We had an oceanfront room in the Reserve section (Building #3). It was a rocky start due to the fact that they tried to put us in building #4 which is not oceanfront or Reserve. However, when we explained our frustration, they found a room in the right building. The resort is beautiful and the service was great. We loved the multiple options for dining and the food was good. The restaurant in the Reserve section was terrific! Best breakfast! We also loved that it had a small swimmable beach. I would definitely return.

TL;DR: Chill, low-energy resort with good food but notable issues. Only one main pool (second is paid “Reserve”). Nights are quiet—most guests are in by 10:30. Activities fill quickly, so arrive early or risk being turned away. Resort even ran out of tequila one day. Biggest concern: money was stolen from our room by staff, and management was dismissive and failed to honor compensation. Highlights: Beautiful, well-maintained lobby and beach area. Great daytime activities (tequila/wine tastings, water aerobics, bocce). Food overall was strong—Santé was the standout, plus great guac, snacks, and pool burritos. Fire dance show was a highlight. Lowlights: Wi-Fi is weak, TVs outdated. Room had multiple maintenance issues (loose shower fixture, temp fluctuations, cracked mirror) and got uncomfortably hot at night. Bed was lumpy. Constant water noise in room. Room service was poor (cold, bland, low quality), though the club sandwich was decent. Several restaurants underwhelmed—especially Mexican and Italian—while Asian and buffet were average. Pool bar understaffed but manageable. Sky Bar was essentially non-operational when we visited. Other concerns: Limited sustainability efforts and questionable animal welfare on the beach. Major issue: Money was stolen from our room by staff. Management was dismissive, offered a credit, then refused to honor it—leaving a very negative final impression.

Clean rooms. Good food. Great service. Beach is beautiful. Love the cabanas. A calm place - if you’re looking for a huge resort with a party vibe, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a relaxing place you can walk anywhere on in 5 minutes or less with beautiful sunrises, this is the place for you.

We got the reserve upgrade and had our own concierge. They were extremely accommodating. My partner wanted watermelon margaritas, and they went out out of the way to make them for her. The reserve pool was nice and quiet, while the larger pool had a lot of activities and a swim up bar. Left the phones in the room and had a great time relaxing, and being present for each other.

Beautiful resort. Most helpful and gracious staff. "The Reserve" section delightful. Pool afternoon activities could get a little loud/boisterous, if you just wanted to relax and be quiet.

I recently stayed at Paradisus Los Cabos and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations for a resort of this level. We had no hot water for approximately 36 hours, with no prior communication. I only discovered this while in the shower, which was particularly frustrating as it happened on the day I had a spa booking and negatively affected the experience. Housekeeping was kind and attentive with general tidying, and the staff overall were friendly. However, there was a lack of consistency with changing bed linens—it took over 24 hours and multiple requests (including concierge follow-ups) for the sheets to be changed. There was also a lack of transparency around upgrades. Although availability appeared to exist, no upgrade was offered. Instead, I was told that the Expedia discounts and added services I received were due to upgrade unavailability, which is misleading as those are standard Expedia Platinum benefits. Despite raising these concerns and having photo evidence, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered. While the staff were kind and the resort has positive aspects, the lack of communication, inconsistency in service, and limited accountability made the overall experience disappointing.
