“On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely Erika, who gave us a tour of the grand suit ‘The Robertson’ which was a stunning suit!! luxurious in every way, with a huge bedroom Space, separate kitchen & Bathroom area! Personal touches were fantastic, with the most beautiful hand wash & lotion, with the matching shampoo & conditioner & body wash. Erika had even provided the same brand of bubble bath so we could enjoy a nice relaxing bath after a long day walking in Edinburgh. The fresh bread……

“Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally.”

“The receptionist couldn't have been any more helpful, even climbing the stairs to the top floor despite being 6 months pregnant. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Bar staff were lovely.”

“Having dined here several times under the previous owners, this was, however, our first time staying at the Open Arms (now under new ownership). We were not disappointed. Dinner was as delicious as before (though we were sorry to see that the haggis wellington option was no longer on the menu).
