“No one came to clean our room for 3 days. Had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Will not go back. The breakfast was good and changed every day.”

We are so glad we chose this hotel for our trip to Gettysburg, even though we had to drive a short distance to Gettysburg. It was worth it!”

“We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. The 2 breakfasts we enjoyed were skillfully……

“The entire place needs a makeover but with that being said our room was clean,air conditioner worked great. We were notified that they were short staffed so that the rooms wouldnt be tidied up but that if we needed towels to get them at the front desk. With all that being said i would definitely go back because the staff were doingvthe absolute best they could and were so very friendly and helpful. Hats off to Angie in particular. Thank you!”

“This was our second time staying at the 1863 Inn at Gettysburg. The room was very clean and the bathroom updated. PROS: Great location! We were able to walk the cemetary and the entire town easily from our location. The location can't beat. Close to stores, restaurants and attractions. CONS: The property is a bit dated. There's a musty smell throughout. Our particular room was very damp although the air conditioner kept the room cool, everything just felt damp and the room was humid. In……
