"I’ve never written a review before, never had the need to until now. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. First of all.. Staff- room cleaning was non-existent. I had to go get towels myself and throw my own trash bags away every day. I made it known to the front desk that there was no room service performed multiple times. Cleanliness- disgusting, hadn’t been swept in forever, witnessed cockroaches crawling out of cracks, still had sand in the shower when we checked in Onsite Bar- hotel advertised having an onsite bar! Cool right? They failed to mention it had been closed down and is only open for special occasions now Pool- the pool was filthy, pond water would have been cleaner. I even had to ask the front desk if it was open because you couldn’t tell. Their excuse is it’s too close to busy season to clean it. And don’t forget parking is $17 a day, that wasn’t mentioned while booking!"

"Loved the upgrade to a better view, the privacy of the separate bedroom for the parents, and the host of onsite amenities. We took advantage of long walks on the beach, quiet mornings having coffee sitting in one of the two balconies, and having delicious food delivered to our room. We would stay again in a heartbeat, possibly in a room on a higher floor for an even better view."

"This was our 4th stay at the Daytona Hilton oceanfront. The previous stays were enjoyable with clean rooms and comfortable. This stay makes me want to try a different hotel next time. The room they gave us was a handicap accessible room with a thermostat mounted 3 feet from the floor and a shower head that was 5 feet at its highest setting. All of which would have been fine had we requested such a room. When we arrived we found the cloth chair in the room had a brown stain that looked like someone $h!t on it and tried to wipe ot off. The chair to the desk had a large tear in the leather. The room was warm so we dropped the thermostat and left for dinner. After we arrived back to the room at 9 pm we found it was still hot and had to contact the front desk and asked for a room change. We were told maintenance would arrive soon to look at the AC. The man arrived at 9:45 pm and at 10 pm left after repairing the issue. It took almost another hour for the room to cool down. In the morning we found the tub drained slow and we stood in 6" of water by the time we were done. The sink was a slow small stream at best with both cold and hot water on. To top it all off we found that the main pool overlooking the ocean was closed due to a chlorine issue. Disappointing stay to say the least."
