Big carpark, large family orientated garden. Practical. As u would expect from urban setting not the most beautiful.」

「The twin room with shared bathroom was on a very noisy main road with traffic lights outside, and the window did not shut fully. We didn't realise on booking that the room was not ensuite. The beds were very springy. This was fine for one night only and only five minutes from the heliport.」

「Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session. The private spa tub was advertised but missing. 」

「This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...

「There was no easy way between the floors - metal spiral staircase outside which was dangerous when raining and a lift inside which kept getting stuck!」

「It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the B&B to the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount (we didn't have a car). But it was probably the nicest place we stayed on our three-week trip to Ireland and southwestern England! It's next to a pasture with horses and has a lovely lawn with chairs, and the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen areas are large and beautifully appointed. We wished we could stay longer!」

「This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.」

「The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. 」
