"Double room with sea view. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture was flat pack type and mismatched, and not spotlessly clean. Please be aware when booking that it is sold with 'free breakfast' which is not the case. We were advised on check in to take breakfast at a nearby cafe at £12.50ph for a cooked english plus the price for tea or coffee so you need to factor this in to your budget. The proprietor did offer us porridge or a croissant "as a gesture of goodwill'", but we really needed...

"Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
