“We were so happy with our recent stay at the Stonecliffe. The property is gorgeous and the room was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and all the fun lawn games. Our kids especially enjoyed the nightly candy cart and smores! Having those activities for the kids made our trip that much better. We hope to come back soon!”

“I didn't know what to expect coming into Sunrise Beach Motel since I had read both very positive reviews as well as some pretty scathing ones. But my experience was excellent. We were given a nicely rehabbed 2nd story room overlooking Lake Huron with beautiful views of the bridge and surrounding islands. Our room had the pinewood paneling on the walls and new LVP flooring. The beds made a spring sound when you moved around, but nothing too bad. Everything was clean. The handle on our sliding……

“Don’t plan on using the swimming pool, very ran down, property not maintained very well. Flooring in room was sticky. The lawn chairs on the balcony were very dirty and falling apart.”

“The room we stayed in was clean, just basic. We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door. The rooms were basic and felt equal to the affordable price we paid. The pools were not open but it was a cold memorial day weekend trip. I got to bring my dog for only $25 for the whole 4 nights. “I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in.”

“Easily accessible parking. No wait time at the front desk. Our nighttime latch was broken when we arrived, notified the staff and stepped out to eat. It was fixed when we came back to the room. Worth every penny. Convenient to docks and walking distance to shopping district.”
