“The hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle was great. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was self serve, from a buffet with bread, coffee, bagels, etc. Good to have if you're really hungry. Bed was fine but bedding was thin and itchy. Sink in room would not drain. Tub was cleaned and shower worked fine. There was a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner.”

“The property is clean but outdated. Cracks in the ceiling, bathroom had poor lighting, the ventilation was so-so. Breakfast had limited options and space for eating.”

“Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++. So between the ridiculous pillows and the rumble all night, sleep was minimal. The TV was beyond frustrating - two different remotes that each do their own thing, they……

“It was OK. The hotel is quite dated. And even though it’s on a lake, there’s no way to walk around the lake. And the first day we were there it was a beautiful morning. We wanted to sit on the patio to have our breakfast and it was closed for no reason at all. Very disappointing. But it was nice to have a view of the lake to just relax and unwind after a busy day or at the beginning of the day with a cup of coffee”

The Red George Inn & Suites is full of historic charm and is ideally situated within easy walking distance of both the waterfront and the Convention Centre. We loved our stay and would gladly return on a future visit.”
