“PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. It was the most disappointing hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy.
1. Outdated facilities — No fridge, no electric kettle, no elevator, weak water pressure, and extremely small shower space. Instead of key cards, guests are given a physical key.
2. Bug issues — There were many bugs around the property, and I even found dead bugs in the bathroom floor.
3. Poor accessibility and transportation —……

“Terrible service. For a 2,500 a night room. Everything should be perfect !!!! I can go on with the list but is endless. I can just say Terrible management and of course the general manager is not there on Sunday’s not even peak season sooo everything was a disaster.”

“We loved our stay at the Hotel Villa Edy, and especially appreciated the warmth of the staff. The rooms were not large but had everything we needed. It was important to us to have effective air conditioning since we were visiting during a heat wave, and the air conditioning had no trouble keeping the room cool. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated and the pool was wonderful. Special thanks to Christine who stayed late to check us in after a day of travel delays, and to Sidney and Abershen……

“Fantastic location across the street from Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni and a very short walk to the downtown lakefront. Spacious, clean and modern - just a very nice and comfortable apartment. The pool area is simply wonderful - modern and well designed. Pool area is private, with a tree-covered hill behind, green area to one side and the Basilica of St. Giacomo on the other side. “The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s).
Try to avoid this place if possible.”
