"Highly recommended! The property is conveniently located within a short drive of Downtown Boothbay Harbor. The view from the house was spectacular and the accommodations extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were truly memorable, and coffee and fresh baked cookies served as a delightful afternoon treat. Carolyn and the Five Gables staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, readily sharing their local knowledge of the area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"My family of three so enjoyed our stay at Jonathan's cottage nestled in the wood with a lovely view of the St. George River. We hosted lobster dinner (fresh off the boat in Friendship!) for our Maine relatives on the covered porch. The house was so very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and make cocktails. If you want quiet, this is the place! Nothing but the sound of the sea birds and the lobsterman checking their traps. Great location for visiting the Camden area. I recommend the...

"The house is just beautiful and was very clean, very comfortable, we loved it. The shower stall is very small. The location is nice but not really walkable to anywhere. Communication with Vacasa, however, is not great. They reply much better before you book and maybe the first day and then - not anymore... There were some issues and they sent only auto replies and no real answers. Not really issues with the house, the house is rather perfect."

"This house was very large and had many amenities. The Yard was great and had a very nice deck equipped for entertaining guests. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening around the gas firepit spending time with Family from the area. We enjoyed watching the wildlife walk right up though the yard. Spacious garage we did not use but was accessible. 3 Bedrooms and 2 baths were spacious and well equipped. We loved the large stone fireplace in the Livingroom it was beautiful for taking memorable...

"The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us."
