"We've stayed here multiple times. This hotel is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood blocks from quality coffee shops and restaurants and just a few blocks up from Asilomar State Beach. No frills, but clean, quiet, laminate floors and dog friendly. There is also a gas fireplace in the room which we enjoy. We've stayed in most of the hotels in this little neighborhood and Deer Haven is one of our preferred."

"All of the staff were very friendly. Jacks restaurant downstairs was excellent, especially the breakfast. 👏 We ate there once for dinner (Kobe beef sliders and Calzone) and three times for breakfast (omelet and Eggs Benedict and French Toast). There was a mixup in the beginning with the rooms (wrong room type and were not available till 5pm). But overall a great experience. "

"The Place is really beautiful! we are definitely coming back again, the only down experience was the staff who assisted us was a little mean. I had to work so we aren't able to arrived till almost 10 pm. We received to calls from this person and we let him know that we apologize for any inconvenience of our late check in. but this person is obviously upset and did not give us any smile or welcoming mood when we arrived. it was my husband and I Wedding anniversary and we just escaped for a night....
