"This is our second time in 2 years. First time we stayed at Nizuc without our kids, second time Sunrise, with kids. We are always very impressed with the resort staff, cleanliness, prompt service, great restaurant choices, great amenities, pretty good evening entertainment. Safe, secure property. Beach sucks. Dont stay here for the beach. The pools are great! The wait staff at the pools, and the swim-up bars are wonderful. Kids activites are more than adequate. We like Nizuc better for an adult-only trip. There are fewer children there."

"Overall it was good, we had to move to the hotel because of our flights were cancelled. Didn’t quite understand the two bottles of water for a room of four people. Restaurant food not good for the prices, breakfast could be better two. Room wasn’t clean during our two night stay at all. "

"This was by far the worst vacation we have ever taken. The staff was nice, but they were not equipped to deal with high volumes of guests. The check in process was awful. We could not check in at the main desk, they made Expedia members go down to an office practically off the grid to check in. Took so long we lost the afternoon to enjoy the pool. We also couldn’t get dinner reservations until the third night we were there. Had to eat buffet over and over and were told ‘sorry its busy’. Trying to fight for food at an all inclusive resort was disappointing, but when we finally did get into one of the restaurants, they were out of everything. The pool was also so full there were no chairs, had to wake up at 7am if you didn’t want to pay for cabanas. We were desperate so we finally booked one only to be told to move because they accidentally sold the cabana to someone else. In addition to all of this, our room flooded and nobody came to help for 2 hours and they ran out of most alcohol. Can’t believe we spent $6k for that, never want to book through Expedia again."

"Awesome place. Location isn’t the best if you’re looking for partying. Not slot of visitors. None of the bars were open half the time I was there. But still a very lovely place. The food was kind of overpriced do what you get. The breakfast was good "

"Beautiful resort with amazing staff, from Lucy on the concierge desk to bartenders Diana and Emmanuel, and to all the entertainment staff from mar though everybody, there is always something going on. Food was very good as well"
