"This was my second visit to Cancun, and I enjoyed AVA Resort much more than the resort I stayed at on my previous trip. One of the best features is that all rooms have an ocean view, which was absolutely beautiful. During our four-night stay, I watched the sunrise every morning, which made the trip even more special. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and both the welcome and departure processes were smooth and well organized. The food was generally good, although the salad selection was a bit limited. The omelet chef at the breakfast buffet was especially friendly and memorable. The drinks, ice cream, and desserts were excellent. The resort offers many pool options for all ages, and we especially enjoyed kayaking. I also appreciated that staff regularly came around the pool to take food and drink orders, which made everything very convenient. The Kids Club was great, offering a variety of activities and water play. My child spent about four hours there, which gave me some relaxing time. There was also evening entertainment every day, including a kids’ show at 7 pm and a show for all guests at 9 pm. The clown show for kids and the American pop singer tribute show were both very entertaining. One small downside was that the return-guest sales offer was presented twice, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, some activities like the arcade and laser tag require extra payment. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay."

"Overall Moon Palace was a really nice stay. Very clean rooms with comfy beds and lots of options for families - large water park and other more laid back pools. Didn’t love the “sales” feeling with the membership, which we said no to. They even tried to sell us again as we were checking out. All of the shows were also later in the evening which we didn’t get to participate in due to having a 3 year old who goes to bed at 8. "
