“This place was amazing. Clean, beautiful views, quiet area, large rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly and stay out of your way so you can do whatever you want to. The only issue is that the parking can be a bit difficult to manage with a large vehicle.”

“The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. The room, while on the small side, was adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. There were a number of small items which detracted from my stay. We didn't book breakfast but tried it on our last day and wished we had - great selection of cooked and continental options at reasonable price. Lots of restaurants closeby and about 35 minutes walk to Umhlanga beach. Only slight disappointment was that there is nowhere to change or shower by the pool. ”
