Highly recommend talking with the staff about the history of this fascinating, historic hotel. The staff were also flexible, kind and made you feel comfortable. Clean, comfortable rooms. An amazing place!"

"The newer sections of this property are better. We had a king room with river view. It was very clean and functional in everything. Even has a balcony with chairs! The grounds are beautiful, as are the grounds of the two neighboring properties. It’s not walkable to town or shopping. The Gorge Hotel has an unremarkable restaurant next door. So bring some snacks. Staff are friendly. Do not be put off by the simplicity of the office. This is a comfortable place with a nice vibe, a view, places for pets and adorable gardens with ducks right next door. "
