「I really wanted to like this place but boy did it leave a lot to be desired. Please note that you cannot access the bedrooms without taking stairs/ladders - and the stairs are kind of dangerous. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews mentioning this. The outside looks like the pictures but the inside is poorly made, dusty and dirty. It is also very dark in there (which I guess is part of the ambience) - I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t that one of the lamps had no bulb and the light...

「My family of 9 adults met at The Castle and found The Castle and the furnishings were very fun and eccentric. It is a great place for a large family to gather with plenty of room and things to do like fishing, trolling around the pond, outdoor fire pit, walking, cooking, playing games and being outdoors. 「We enjoyed our time in the Castle. We had 12 people and it worked great. Kitchen worked well, and we ate on the patio. The lake has been drained and that was disappointing. The lighting controls were confusing, and we never could figure out the AC. I’m sure that might have been user error. The house and plumbing fixtures are dated.
