The grounds are beautiful, as are the grounds of the two neighboring properties. It’s not walkable to town or shopping. The Gorge Hotel has an unremarkable restaurant next door. So bring some snacks. Staff are friendly. Do not be put off by the simplicity of the office. This is a comfortable place with a nice vibe, a view, places...

My only complaints or suggestions was that they needed a long mirror somewhere in the room and we could not get any of the lights to work in the morning. I think it had blown a fuse. The bathroom light would turn on but the bedroom electrical didn’t seem to work. "

"I really like the hotel staff very polite and professional. The cleaning staff did a pretty good job as well. Overall pretty good hotel only thing I did not enjoy was the breakfast. It was very cold and not fresh. I went to the bread section and the bread was hard and stale I even saw mold on one of the English muffins. Not really expecting five star dining but they need to really improve with the breakfast as far as it being hot and fresh and better quality. "
