During my recent stay, I experienced an issue with front desk service that I would like to share for awareness and improvement. While traveling to the hotel, I placed a phone call to verify the location. During the conversation, the front desk staff member became frustrated when I had difficulty understanding the directions and abruptly hung up the phone. I found this to be unprofessional. When I arrived and mentioned the incident during check-in, the same staff member appeared upset, dismissed my concern, and attempted to redirect the conversation while placing blame elsewhere. I calmly stated that hanging up on a guest is unprofessional and that customers should be treated respectfully. The staff member responded defensively, stated she felt disrespected by my comment, and threatened not to check me in. At that point, I chose to step away to retrieve my glasses from my car in order to complete parking paperwork and made no further comments. I was later checked in without further issue. Upon going to my assigned room, I noticed the bedroom door was already open. I returned to the front desk to report this, and the staff member confirmed it was a mistake and offered to switch rooms, which I accepted. I would like to note that the remaining staff were courteous, professional, and very helpful. The overnight front desk staff member was especially kind and professional. Breakfast was excellent, the hotel is very nice, parking is secure, and accessibility is good.

Very disappointing stay. Breakfast was poorly managed — they ran out of eggs, and the dining area is much too small for the number of guests. Valet parking was slow and inefficient. For the price charged, this hotel does not deliver adequate value

No place to unload. Poor service at check-in. Forced to use “ valet parking” which means you drive to an adjacent parking garage where a surely dude unrelated to the hotel begrudgingly takes your keys. In the morning it took 25 minutes standing in said garage to get our car while we stood waiting in 20 degree temps. There was only one elevator working and we were on the 8th floor. The working elevator had a 3 ft puddle of milk on the floor when we arrived. There was no coffee maker in the room . Breakfast was in a cramped little alcove. There appeared to be no one servicing the food. Two dried out omlettes were available. The sausage was gone. The pancake machine was tucked in a corner, and inaccessible because of other guests bundled around the toaster and breads. There were a few cinnamon buns but they were literally frozen. I had to take it to my room and defrost it in my room. I had to take my breakfast to my room anyway as there were only about 6 places to sit in the breakfast area, 4 were occupied and the remainder piled with trash that no one was removing. At least the room was clean and quiet but on the whole very disappointing. Not worth the nearly $400 I was charged. I relied on Expedia’s recommendation.. You failed me on this one

Mostly how nice the rooms were….small but really comfy and perfect for a solo travel. I really liked the pillows. :-) And it was very clean. Your staff at the front desk could use a little help with being more welcoming though….I found them to be very distant and they avoided eye contact if you were waiting for the elevator and wanted to even say “hello” to them. Hoe this helps.
