"This is an older property that had been previously remodeled. However the room smelled like cigarette smoke and overall didn’t seem the cleanest like the pictures prospective. It’s also not really what I consider a walkable to the downtown area. It’s a very steep hill and it should be added to be very aware of BEARS!! "
"The cabin is next to a dumpster churning trash 24/7. Trash is constantly being dumped & tons of garbage piled up which led to massive bears surrounding our cabin & preventing us from leaving. After calling they cleaned the area around the trash compactor but left multiple other bags. Our view from the windows & porch the entire trip was mounds of trash in the creek. "Hotel was very nice for the price we paid, we really enjoyed staying here. The room was well decorated and comfortable and the location was great. There were a few minor maintenance issues like worn paint (mostly in common areas) and a missing drain plug, but these did not impact our experience."

"We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Smoky Mountains. The property is clean, super inexpensive and the staff were really nice and accommodating. Understand that this is an older hotel, but it has a lot of vintage vacation charm. It’s like something from the 1980’s.
The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge,which was very useful. We stopped at Aldi in Pigeon Forge and stocked up on bread,cheese and drinks to offset the high prices of everything in town. The breakfast was good and there’s a nice little park directly behind the hotel.
Although there is no jacuzzi, it was hot enough that we enjoyed the pool. "
