“There was no air conditioning and the property is directly across from a noisy bar, so you can choose to have all the windows closed and be hot or open the windows and be unable to sleep. The beds were futons with no sheets. The kitchen table and chairs were patio furniture. The sense of the place is the host putting in the bare minimum effort. It was a very disappointing experience and I recommend people instead stay at one of the many other places in the area.”

“Great view. Easy access to the beach. Comfortable beds.”

“Check in time was 4pm and we arrived at 5pm to find the property not cleaned. Dirty sheets on floor, dirty towels in tub, kitchen counters dirty, moldy bug infested food left in the microwave. The patio screen door was knocked off the tracks. The bedroom closet was locked off for supplies so had to use the entry was closet which was full of boxes, fans etc so could only use half of the closet. The host was responsive . A cleaning crew finally did arrive and we finally got into the property at……

“We really enjoyed the location—it was amazing! It was so close to the beach and the Belmont area, which made it easy to walk everywhere without having to use our car.One thing that caught us by surprise was that we didn’t see anywhere in the listing that mentioned there was no air conditioning, so we weren’t expecting that. The listing does mention that the garage is small, but even with our small car, we weren’t able to fit it inside. Before our stay, I asked about a high chair after the host……

“This condo was perfect for our family. We have two kids 6 and 4 years old. They enjoyed the place and the views of planes taking off in the morning. The condo was clean and I felt at ease. The ability to do laundry, cook breakfast and pack lunches for the beach was definitely a plus. We also appreciated the beach chairs and extra beach towels. Please note this location was close to many places we visited with the kids. Lego Land, USS Midway museum, Sesame place, and the beach. Thank you for……

“Condo was very clean and only steps to the beach and several good places to eat. Michael, our host, was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again! Check-in super easy.”

“Go for the location alone! The patio is right on Mission Beach, directly on the boardwalk, and the views are fantastic. There’s also a wall A/C unit in the upstairs bedroom, which was a nice bonus if you want a cool place to relax or sleep after a day at the beach.”

“The building is pretty run down”

“Such a great location and nice place- we thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved how all the kitchen drawers and cupboards were labeled with what was inside them. Such a great convenience! Amazing view!!”

“Great place. Would stay there again!”
