“Super 8 review Unfortunately, our stay has been disappointing from the beginning, primarily due to a combination of poor organization, confusing service, and the condition of the rooms. When we first arrived to check in, there was nobody at the front desk. There was a man outside smoking, but he had no name tag or uniform and there was nothing to indicate that he worked for the hotel. After the cleaning staff went outside to find someone, he came in and asked why we hadn’t told him we wanted……

“We had a wonderful stay at AVBC. The room was very comfortable. The view was excellent. Loved the beach.”

“Great little motel. It's a bit dated,but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent. Allowed us to buy some beer from the restaurant for our room. We had arrived without any because the local store closed before we were able to get there. Breakfast was excellent. I definitely would recommend the Mountain View if you are looking for a reasonable priced stay and don't need something fancy. Great for the motorcycle crowd.”

“Motel is old and showing it's age. Restaurant was good. Staff were very friendly. Next time we will ask for one of the cabins, which are much newer.”

“The whole place is poorly managed and operated. It is old and in room amenities are missing. Electrical connections are poorly cared for and breakfast is just a nuisance, distubing the local male club headed by the property manager, every morning at 8am. We are 2 seniors in our 80's who had booked and stayed 4 nights. Nobody came to do anything to the room, during our stay. We had to ask for more toilet paper and someone to empty our trash can by the third day of our stay. That was done……
